I’ve changed my mind. The egg didn’t clip c!Hannah’s wings it grew little vines on them. They slowly spread like an infection until they totally hid the delicate flesh and membrane. Hannah’s wings became a mass of withering vines. After the egg lost its grip on her they started to fall off. The slightest shade of pink was showing when Boomer exploded them.

Do you think it attached the vines to her nerves? So it was like a scab?
